Our flying fields. First up is the Otay Mesa field near the Mexican border. Our 'home' field you might say. I'll include the great site at Perris, CA, and Lost Hills, too, as soon as I have them.

There are several detours starting at the signal light turnoff where Otay Mesa Road continues East right now.  Just follow the signs.  You simply end up going South, then East, and back North to hit Otay Mesa Road just east of the construction at the lighted intersection.  From there, right on down to Alta, then South (off the road) to the site.

Someone have a good map for Lost Hills?

The Orbiteers Otay Mesa flying site below.   Very fine little field.  Usually very good weather conditions.

The site at Perris, CA

The site at Perris, CA.  This is a great little site with usually excellent conditions.  It is the SCAMPS home field, and Orbiteers are most welcome.  Typical Wednesday flying sessions bring 25 or so cars, and lots of people flying.  Saturdays brings out the FAI crowd.  Smaller group, but dedicted glider and rubber flyers - gas models welcome anytime, too.
